Discover the complete story with locations
The demand from the business for detailed and extensive geographic information is growing. That need goes beyond what free services can provide. Idevio states Qlik allows users to easily add maps to applications, automatically retrieving relevant geo-data. By subsequently overlaying visualisations on the maps, they can discover the complete story hidden in their data. Simple drill-down functions make it possible to extract useful information from maps that contain a lot of information and consist of millions of data points. Idevio's cloud service - GeoAnalytics - can also be used to analyze geo-data in combination with non-geographic data. This solution can be used for various scenarios, such as determining the best retail locations, providing insight into the turnover per postcode area and calculating delivery times.
The answer to the question 'where'
With the unique associative model of Qlik all possible connections between data can be uncovered, including the connections with geo-data. Users can also:
Make better location-related decisions. Organizations depend on location data for many important decisions, such as the choice of business locations, the deployment of personnel and the determination of delivery times. Maps provide visual context for that Qlik helps users make informed location-related decisions;
Get more insights. The rapid display of map data allows users to discover patterns that are difficult to see in graphs and tables;
Increase productivity. Due to the possibility to link location data of cities, regions and countries with the necessary geo-data, users can now add rich and interactive geo-visualisations to the Qlikapplications.
Anthony Deighton, CTO and SVP Products Qlik: “Technologies such as the Internet of Things generate an enormous amount of location data. However, the increasing popularity of this technology means that many organizations face challenges in collecting and deploying all this data. We want to be a partner who helps organizations to analyze this geo-data and that is possible with the solutions of Idevio. The acquisition contributes to the further development and introduction of our solutions, so that we can offer our customers more added value. ”
