Slack connector
Connecting Slack projects to your Qlik sense of QlikView app
With the Qlik Slack connector, you can select data from your Slack account, such as lists of available public channels or private messages, and put it in your Qlik Sense app or QlikLoad View Document.
De Qlik Slack Connector is part of the Qlik Web Connectors - a comprehensive suite of preconfigured connectors for major social media and web-based data sources.
To access your Slack data, you must verify the connector with your Slack account credentials. After connecting and selecting Slack as your data source, you will be redirected to a Slack login page to obtain your authentication token.
To run some tables, you must enter specific table parameters, usually in the form of an object ID or an object name. You can find many of these parameters when you run other tables.
For example, if you want to run the PrivateMessages table, you need the group ID. You can get the list of group IDs by running the PrivateGroups table.
After verifying the connector with your account credentials, you can use the following tables to select and load data
- AllUsers
- Channels
- Messages
- PrivateGroups
- private messages
