Synchronous queries to Google BigQuery
With the Qlik Google BigQuery Connector allows you to create synchronous queries to Google BigQuery from Qlik, which you can use to find your projects, datasets and tables.
De Qlik Google BigQuery Connector is part of Qlik Web Connectors - a comprehensive suite of preconfigured connectors for major social media and web-based data sources.
Around the Qlik To use the Google BigQuery Connector, you must have a Google account with which to authenticate the connector.
After you verify the connector, the following tables are available:
- Projects - Displays the projects that you have read at least access.
- DataSets - Displays all data sets in the specified project that the caller has access to. However, a project owner can specify all datasets in their project.
- Tables - Displays all tables in the specified dataset. To call this method you must have one of the following permissions: Dataset READ, Dataset WRITE,
or Dataset OWNER. - TableSchema - Displays schema information for the specified table.
- TableSchemaAsXML - Displays schema information for the specified table as XML.
- SynchronousQuery - Runs a BigQuery SQL query synchronously and displays search results, provided the query is completed within a specified timeout (default
30 minutes). - SynchronousQueryAsXML - Runs a BigQuery SQL query synchronously and returns query results as XML provided the query is completed within a specified timeout
(default 30 minutes).
