Connecting Facebook content to your Qlik sense of QlikView app

With the Qlik Facebook Insights Connector allows you to connect your Facebook content with your Qlik sense of QlikView app via the Facebook Insights API and App Insights API. Full details about the type of information these APIs provide can be found in the Insights Metric section of the Facebook Graph API.

Facebook

Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and videos, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. The site, which is available in 37 different languages, contains many public features.

You must be the owner or manager of the Facebook page, application, or domain. Before the Facebook page or object Insights data becomes available, it must have at least 30 Likes and you must be an administrator.

There are a large number of Facebook Insights tables covering the four main object types:

• Pages
• Domains
• Applications
• Posts

De Qlik Facebook Insights Connector also categorizes the tables in the same way.

There are also additional categories such as Realtime, which shows all the tables in the above four categories that support real-time data.

You can also load the full list of table names in QlikView and Qlik Sense by selecting the All tables category and running the TableNames table.

This table also contains columns that indicate which tables are processed in real time and which periods each table supports.

De Qlik Facebook Insights Connector is configured with all tables included in the Insights Metric section of the Facebook Graph API.
