Exact Online Qlik Connector

At Exact Online customers we see more and more users who want to gain more insights from the data. To realize and facilitate this, Exact Online has released a REST API service. This is an API to access online data from Exact Online (SaaS) in a format that is suitable for business intelligence tools, such as Qlik.

By default, Exact Online itself also offers analysis options within the platform, but with the Exact Online Connector and the analysis of this data with Qlik we can dive deeper and more dynamically into the data and perform analyzes from all angles that will lead to more and faster insights. Moreover, with Qlik the possibility to easily consolidate (merge) different administrations and to develop custom reports for loss and profit overviews in combination with budgets, forecasting, what-if analysis etc.

Connect securely to Exact Online

OAuth is used to gain secure access to the Exact Online data. With a handy button in Exact Online Connector an “Access Token” can be generated which can be copied into the connector. After this, a secure connection has been realized, after which all data can be retrieved that is desired.

De Qlik Exact Online connector works just like an ODBC connection to a database. The various API Resources that Exact Online makes available (note: not all parts of Exact Online are available through API) can be read as tables in Qlik. Scripts are automatically generated based on the selections made.
