The FM Group, founded in 1968, is a trading company in flowers, plants and accessories. Every day, 1700 colleagues in 17 countries spread over 6 continents ensure that a fresh, varied range is delivered to more than 40.000 customers. The supply chain plays an important role at FM: the enormous assortment of 16.000 varieties of fresh flowers and 9.600 plants has to reach the right retailer, florist or wholesaler at the right time.
Having insight into the data via dashboards, reports and analytics plays a key role in this. The BI-Analytics team, one of the 11 scrum teams at FleuraMetz, is responsible for this.
“Our team is responsible for internal information provision. We have been doing this with the combination of Qlik en Qlik NPrinting.
With Qlik we have developed more than 25 dashboards for key users and with Qlik NPrinting we distribute up to 600 reports every night to colleagues and preferred suppliers worldwide. Last year MS Power BI was also introduced within the organization for self-service BI. ”
